"This homemade peach pie recipe holds a lot of memories for me. My mom used to make this when I was a little girl. Fresh fruit pies, like this blueberry pie, are among my favorites. But no other conjures up sweet memories for me like this deep dish peach pie from my mom’s arsenal."

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 10 cups sliced peaches
- 3 teaspoons butter
- 3 cups flour
- 11 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup butter flavored shortening
- 7 tablespoons cold water
