Have been making theese for years with a couple of changes. I use 16oz tub soft cream cheese, spreading almost entire deli slice with it. I leave pickles whole, then wrap, let set up in refrigerator for a couple of hours, then slice into about 1/4" slices. Sometimes I have to sort of rewrap ends of pickles because I have yet to see a pickle that is the same diameter end to end. Bet you can't eat just one!
