Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/3 cup ketchup or barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 16-oz cans baked beans
- 1 package hot dogs, sliced
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in an oven-proof, 2 quart casserole dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

This is very quick and easy to make. The beans would be a good side dish for a barbecue or picnic. To feed more people, double the recipe. I would probably use barbecue sauce, instead of ketchup to give the beans a smokier flavor. This could be a main dish, if paired with some rolls, making for a simple lunch.

Here is a link that is helpful with conversions. Baked beans and hotdogs are essentially cooked, so all you have to do is warm them in your low cooker. I normally start my baked beans on high for about an hour, then turn it down to low for another 2 or more hours. Most of your good slow cooker cookbooks have a conversion chart for converting regular to slow cooker times. Hope this helps. Spider
