Applesauce Meatballs
Adding applesauce to your meatballs is a useful culinary trick - it keeps them moist, and you won't even be able to taste it. These meatballs make a perfect accompaniment to pasta, and are also delicious on a hoagie bun with melted mozzarella cheese.

Hate to sound like a total dummy, but what the heck is "HP sauce mix". Far too many recipes assume that folks no what stuff is. Pete

My spouse taught me a couple of tricks that I use because of him having chemoradiation treatments back in "87." When I cook hamburgerground chuck, any kind of meatpork instead of oil I use @ 12 can of beer. When meat is done I rinse it good and then put it back in the and simmer until all the moisture is out. Also another trick he taught me is Instead of bread crumbs, he uses ceral! Like Rice Crispies and also Frosted Flakes (if you like a little sweetness). Tastes really good, especially when cooking chicken. Give it a try and let me know what you think of it.
