Banana Meatloaf
This recipe may sound bizarre, but it's surprisingly delicious! The bananas keep the meatloaf moist and provide a unique flavor that the whole family will enjoy.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup fresh soft white bread crumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine all ingredients and pack into a large loaf pan or a 9-inch square pan.
- Bake 350 degrees F for about 1 hour. Pour off any liquid that accumulates in the pan. Serve as you would any meatloaf — hot or cold.
