I love some of these recipes, I would like to share an idea I have been using... sometimes I know I will be away all day and leaving the pot on all day can turn a great recipe into mush so what I do is use a light timer to turn on the pot and just in case I am not home when expected it will also tirn it off after it has cooked the required time ... I will set it on high and to begin cooking 4 hours before expected dinner time, I then set it to turn off 1/2 hour after expected dinner time...even if I am an hour late it is still hot and never overcooked...just read the recipe times and adjust for your personal comings and goings!

    what a find.
