I have made this many times and always get great reviews. It could not be any easier and it make a lot. I use a 9x13 Pyrex dish and it is always full.

the recipe is easy if you just READ it: stand the biscuits on their sides, (I used the Grands) in a circle in a 9 inch glass pie dish. By the time you get all the sugar mixture on them and they bake, it spreads a little. You can flip the dish over so everything is on the bottom, or leave it upright. THEN drizzle the glaze mix on them. EASY, PEASY!

I think this needs a picture, I can't quite see the "standing of the buscuits". It sounds interesting, but just can't picture it.

I've seen this recipe many times and I've passed it by many times because of the wacko directions!

For beachsquirrel and Lu Mar... Step #3 is VERY easy if you READ the directions. NORMALLY when you bake grands biscuits, you place them FLAT (horizontally) in a pan and bake them. THIS is saying to STAND THEM UP (on end, VERTICALY) like they are in the package when you open it up.( they should look like this in the pan (llllllllllllllll NOT--------) I hope this makes sence, because it is NOT hard to do.

What do you mean by standing around the plate...and how big a plate and what is this type of plate? I use pie pans or tart dishes, but pie plate? If you posted a pic I'm d understand what you mean. I'm been baking for ages and this recipe is not very clear. Ifyou put mixture in-between, how does it get on the top. Please explain better. Are the biscuits grands? Thanks! A picture is worth a thousand words!
