my family loves this one! I tweeked it a little bit by adding chopped onions ( about 1 cup) and 1 can of cream of celery soup instead of cream of chicken soup and it tastes even better.

I make this vegetarian and healthier style. Instead of the beef, we use Boca crumbles, double the cream of mushroom soup (low sodium version), add minced onion and garlic to taste, and omit the cheese. One soup can of milk for juice and away you go. This can also be made in the crock pot.

I did something similar. I am allergic to soy, so I cannot use those products, like the boca burger. Instead, I took 2 cans of black beans, drained & rinsed, and sorta diced them until they sorta looked like crumbles of hamburger. It was very good.

My family and I eat this at least once a week. The only difference is we also add two regular size cans of Corn, French Cut Green Beans, or Peas so that 1 dish completes all Food Groups.

My family loves this recipe, however we don't like mushrooms. I either double up on the chicken soup or I substitute Cream of Celery or Cream of Potato for the mushrooms.
