Secret Ingredient Chicken Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 jar Leftover McClure's Brine from Garlic Dill Pickles
  • 2 Chicken Breasts or 1 Small Fryer Chicken
  • 1 gallon Plastic Bag
  1. Using the remaining brine, garlic and dill from a jar of McClure's garlic dill spears, in a 1 gallon plastic bag place your clean and refrigerator thawed chicken breasts in the bag and pour the brine over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 6 hours.

  2. Fire up the grill, discard the liquid from the bag and place your chicken on the grill. Cook thoroughly and place on clean plate.

I love savory so I love to add turmeric to everything.

My favorite secret ingredient is lemon juice. I use it to add flavor to so many things like soups, sauces and baking. It is a great shot of flavor in substitution for standbys like sugar and salt. It is healthy and readily available.
