Grandmother Robinson's Pecan Sandies

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup ground pecans
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in vanilla.
- Gradually mix in flour and pecans until even.
- Form dough into 1 inch balls and place on parchment lined or greased cookie sheets.
- Bake 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool, then roll each cookie in powdered sugar.
