I have a question in regards to taste and thickness before baking these cookies; I know bananas can take the place of eggs, oil, and make a heathier cookie. however do they have a 'banana like' taste?? when you use applesauce the kids can't tell it's in there..a plus for moms'!! do the cookies spread and turn out flat or do they hold some volume after baking? don't care for flat crunchy cookies. would really like to try them if anyone has followed this recipe and can help?? thank you...

Hello, sorry about the confusion with this recipe. That was supposed to be 2 mashed bananas in replace of eggs in this recipe. No applesauce. We've updated to be more clear. Thanks for the feedback!
