Banana Drop Cookies
Who needs banana bread when you can make delicious Banana Drop Cookies instead. These banana cookies rival other cookie recipes I've seen for its moistness and pleasing flavors. Make some for your next gathering.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Banana Butter Frosting:
- 2 cups powder sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup bananas, mashed
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Stir the dry ingredients together. In mixing bowl beat butter or margarine until smooth.
- Add sugar and cream. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
- Add dry ingredients and bananas. Stir in walnuts.
- Drop onto well greased cookie sheet 2 in. apart.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from cookie sheet immediately, cool on wire rack.
Banana Butter Frosting:
- Stir together powdered sugar, mashed banana, butter, and vanilla.
- Mix well. If necessary add more powdered sugar to achieve spreading consistency.
