Cinnamon Cookie Sticks
Cinnamon Cookie Sticks are great munchable snack sticks that makes your cookie last longer. Cinnamon cookie recipes like this taste great on their own, but these are particularly suited for sweet cream cheese or pumpkin dip.
Notes
While they are still hot, the cookies can be sprinkled with a mixture of cinnamon and powdered sugar.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup finely ground walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
- Cream the butter and sugar.
- Gradually beat in the egg, cream, flour, salt and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
- Mix in nuts by hand.
- Taking a tablespoon of dough at a time, roll into cylinders the diameter of a pencil. Slightly flatten the ends and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
