No Bake Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies
No bake cookies always have the best texture and flavor, especially when they have oatmeal in them. These No Bake Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies are a rewarding way to enjoy oatmeal cookies for any occasion. Share with your loved ones or eat them all!
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine
- 1 can (6-oz.) evaporated milk
- 1 package instant butterscotch pudding mix, small
- 2 1/2 cups Quick oats
Instructions
- Combine sugar, margarine and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil.
- Add pudding and oats and remove from heat. Mix thoroughly.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper.
- Let cool 15 minutes or until set.

The flavour was okay, but unless you plan on eating each cookie with a spoon, don't waste your time. I used 3 cups of quick oats and they still never set up. I imagine they are supposed to be boiled for a few minutes at least, but as the recipe didn't call for it, I didn't do that and wasted my time and money.

It says to boil milk margarine and sugar in first step of recipe!
