I wonder how it would be using shrimp instead of round steak. I used to love Shrimp Chow Mein by LaChoy, but they discontinued it. I have tried to find a copy cat recipe and have been unable to find one.

Hi Crafter 0447227, You can always use fresh vegetables. I would recommend steaming the Chinese vegetables and letting them sit and cool while your slow cooker is cooking and then adding them as directed. -Editors of RecipeLion

Could this recipe be adjusted to use all fresh vegetables, if so how should it be done? Any suggestions or recommendations? Thank you.
