    Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

    Who doesn't have a weakness for cookie dough? Recipes for peanut butter pies usually just stop at the peanut butter, but this recipe take it further with chocolate chip cookie dough - with delicious results! Top with pecans if you like.

    Ingredients

    • 1 (18 oz) pkgPillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
    • 3 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 cup peanut butter
    • 2 tablespoons butter softened
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1 cup chocolate chips melted
    • 16 pecan halves (optional)

    Instructions

    1. Press cookie dough in bottom of ungreased 10 inch springform pan.
       
    2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 14 to 18 minutes until golden brown.
       
    3. Cool 15 minutes.
       
    4. In bowl combine powdered sugar, peanut butter, butter and water. Mix well.
       
    5. Drop spoonfuls of mixture over baked cookie crust, press evenly to cover crust.
       
    6. Spread melted chocolate chips over peanut butter mixture.
       
    7. Swirl chocolate with fork.
       
    8. Garnish with pecan halves.
       
    9. Refrigerate 1 hour until chocolate is set.
