I would like to add another comment. If you don't have rice vinegar then you can use white balsamic vinegar. It works just the same. I prefer white balsamic vinegar as that is not as sweet as the dark (the common one) balsamic vinegar and I prefer the more bitter tasting salad dressings. Don't let the word bitter put you off though! It is very tasty.

One thing I can't get right is salad dressings. I love salads and I think what takes them to the next level is a good salad dressing. I don't like bottled ones off the shelf as there seems to be something lacking so I prefer to make my own, especially a nice vinaigrette. This Asian one looks especially good. I have never used peanut oil in a dressing before and am looking forward to trying that out.
