Slow Cooker Lentil Soup

Ingredients
- 2 cups lentils, presoaked and drained
- 5 cups water
- 2 slices bacon, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 can (about 1 pound) tomatoes in juice
- 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and mix to combine. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
