Just looking at this recipe I suggest renaming it Italian Goulash. Not at all American! Spaghetti Sauce? It may be okay, but doesn't interest me as American Goulash. My mother cooked American Goulash and hers may be different but it's what I consider American 1 12 lbs ground beef 1 lge onion chopped 1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes 16 oz pkg. large shell macaroni 1. cook macaroni as pkg directions specify 2. brown ground beef and onion in skillet 3. add tomatoes to beef mixture, add seasoning 4. simmer about 30mins 5. combine with shell macaroni 6. adjust seasonings to taste. 7. all done on stove top.
