Ethiopian Berbere

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ground red pepper
  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground fenugreek
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp ground allspice

Instructions

Oven set to 300 F. Mix well, in cake pan and roast in over 20 min. Stir every 5 minutes watch carefully and stir more often during last 10 min. Cool and store in sealed container in refrigerator or freezer.
