Fresh Strawberry Frosé

If you haven't tried the frosé (AKA frozen rosé wine) trend yet, this recipe is the perfect place to start. We promise that you won't be disappointed! This delicious summer drink is a grown up version of slushies that everyone enjoys when the weather gets warm. You'll simply partially freeze your favorite rosé wine and then blend it with a few other yummy ingredients. The result is a perfectly sippable drink that is ideal for summer barbecues or girls nights.
You can also make an average weeknight just a little more special with a batch of this fun cocktail! However you choose to serve this strawberry frosé, we know you and your guests will talk about it all season long.

Ingredients
- 1 bottle rosé wine (750 ml)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 6 strawberries
- 2 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice

Pour rosé into a large ziptop bag, seal, and freeze until almost solid, about 6 hours. The rose will not completely solidify due to the alcohol.

Make a simple syrup by bringing sugar and water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Remove from stove and cool.

Put rose in the blender, add the strawberries, lemon juice and 2-4 ounces syrup, depending on desired sweetness.

Purée until smooth. Enjoy!
