Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed With Goat Cheese

"My husband and I were at a wine and cheese restaurant and they had dates on their menu. We ordered a charcuterie platter and a side of the dates. They served them sliced in half on a platter. They were so good, I knew I had to recreate this recipe. The changes I made were that I made these with honey-flavored goat cheese and I drizzled them in honey when I served them. I also served them whole so they can be eaten as an easy finger appetizer or can be cut in half for a more formal appetizer."
