Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms
What better way to make a mushroom than to stuff it with cheese? This will be one of the best appetizer recipes that will have your party guests asking "what's in these?". Be a success with these Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound small fresh mushrooms
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- dash of salt, to taste
- dash of Worcestershire sauce, to taste
- dash of ground nutmeg, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Parmesean cheese, grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.
- Rinse mushrooms, and pat dry. Remove stems. Place caps on greased baking sheet.
- Combine remaining ingredients except 2 tablespoons of parmesean cheese. Mix well.
- Spoon mixture into mushroom caps; sprinkle each with reserved cheese. Bake mushrooms at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen.
