Green Olives With Almonds, Honey, And Rosemary
"I have a slight obsession with cooking shows, there are several that I’ll watch over and over and still find something new to enjoy each time. The Lost Kitchen is one of those shows, I have all three of Erin’s books and since I haven’t been fortunate yet to experience her restaurant at least I can try making some of her recipes at home. I saw this recipe for Green Olives with Almonds, Honey, and Rosemary in the cookbook Big Heart Little Stove: Bringing Home Meals & Moments from The Lost Kitchen and I just to try making it. Who knew the honey on green olives would be so amazing? Well, apparently Erin knew and she was totally right, this is such an interesting combination of flavors but all mixed together they bring out the best in each other. Plus, this recipe just needs a few simple ingredients and just like that you have a nice little appetizer that most people can’t get enough of. I think this would also make a great addition to a charcuterie board in addition to plain olives. Whether you’re a foodie, a fan of heartfelt stories, or someone in need of inspiration, The Lost Kitchen is a reminder that sometimes, the best things in life are found in the most unexpected places.
