Henry's Hummus
Hummus is a healthy favorite and can be made in a variety of ways. Henry's hummus is a special kind of hummus that combines the best healthful ingredients to make the most excellent quality of hummus.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 canned chickpeas, drained
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 salt
- 1/4 teaspoon tamari
- 1/4 lemon juice
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
Instructions
- Blend or mash chickpeas to a thick paste using a food mill, grinder or blender or masher.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well; chill thoroughly.
- Serve as an appetizer dip with pita bread, toasted pita points or raw vegtables or use it as a sandwich spread.
