Mini Summer Tart

"These savory summer tarts are not only cute but also super delicious. The tartlets are prepared with small tart/quiche shapes and are inspired by northern French savory tarts such as the onion tart. I decided to turn them into bite-sized mini tarts, which made great party foods as well. However, I do serve them up as a light summertime main course meal with a simple green salad. I like to use garden fresh tomatoes to prepare these mini savory summer tarts and if you grow your own tomatoes at home, then this is a great way to use up your precious red fruits."
