Stuffed Meatball Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 can premade biscuits
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon Italian Herb seasoning
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • garlic & onion powder to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef, egg, ¼ cup parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, 1 tablespoon Italian Herb seasoning, ¼ cup marinara sauce and garlic and onion powder.

  2. Mix well and roll into medium sized balls. Brown in skillet over medium heat then simmer in remaining marinara sauce for 2 hours.

  3. Preheat oven according to canned biscuit recommendations. Peel each biscuit into two layers; stretch and flatten one layer then place meatball in center topped with mozzarella cheese.

  4. Cover with second biscuit layer; press edges together and sprinkle top with parmesan cheese and Italian Herb seasoning.

  5. Bake as recommended on biscuit can. Serve with remaining marinara sauce.
