- 1 pound fresh cheese curds
- 2 baking mix (such as Bisquik)
- 1 cup beer (of your choice)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- vegetable oil for frying

In a large heavy pot, heat oil over medium-high heat to 350 degree F.

Meanwhile, combine baking mix, eggs, beer, salt and pepper in a large bowl.

Dip cheese curds in mixture and carefully lower into the oil. Fry for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oil to a paper towel-lined tray. Sprinkle with salt, let cool and serve.
