Okonomi yaki
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 eggs
- 8 ounce roast pork cut in slivers
- 10 large cabbage leaves, slivered
- 1 cup dried shrimp
- pinch of salt
- 1-1/2 Tbsp oil
- 4 Tbsp Worcerstershire sauce
- 4 Tbsp ketchup
- powdered nori (aonori) or bonito flakes
Instructions
Mix flour, eggs, pork, cabbage, 1/2 the shrimp and salt until you have a smooth batter. Heat a small amt of oil on hot plate or frying pan and pour pancakes of the batter.Cook over medium-low for 5 minutes, or when edges start to bubble -- sprinkle more shrimp on uncooked side then flip over for about 2 min. Brush cooked side with sauces (try other sauces, too) and sprinkle w/nori or bonito flakes.
