Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Mix together cake mix, melted margarine and 1 egg.
     
  3. Press mixture into an oblong baking pan.
     
  4. Add a layer of coconut and chopped nuts.
     
  5. Mix together cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over coconut and nuts.
     
  6. Bake for 35 minutes.
     
  7. Cool and cut into small squares.
