Easy Southern Pecan Pie Bars

From the chewy pecans on top to the gooey and sweet center that makes pecan pie so delicious, these dessert bars have it all.
Ingredients
- 3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup margarine, for the crust
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cup Karo Light or Dark Syrup
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoon margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease bottom and sides of 15x10x1-inch baking pan. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed beat flour, sugar, margarine and salt until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; press firmly and evenly into pan.

Bake in 350 degree F oven 20 minutes.

While crust is baking, prepare filling. In large bowl stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, margarine and vanilla until blended; stir in pecans. Spread evenly over hot crust.
- Bake in 350 degree oven 25 minutes of until set. Cool on wire rack. Makes 48 bars.
