Mixed Nut Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 6 ounce butterscotch morsels
  • 12 ounce can mixed nuts

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt and buttter. Pat into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes. In small saucepan, combine corn syrup, water and butterscotch morsels. Boil two minutes, stirring constantly. Pour filling onto baked crust, then scatter nuts over filling. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes. Cool completely and cut into bars.
