Bloody Mary Meatloaf
Pour your favorite drink on your meatloaf for an exciting new bold flavor. Bloody Mary Meatloaf is mixed with the finest herbs and seasoning and cooked with strips of bacon! This is a great recipe for meatloaf lovers everywhere.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3/4 pound ground veal
- 3/4 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup liquid Bloody Mary mix
- 2 bay leaves roughly crumbled
- 1 tablespoon thyme, crumbled
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 onion, finely diced
- salt and pepper
- uncooked bacon strips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Combine all ingredients except bacon slices. Blend well.
- Form mixture into loaf shape in shallow baking dish. If desired, lay bacon on top to cover. Bake 1 1/4 hours. May be served cold. If so, remove bacon strips that may have been used.
