Flank Steak
Ingredients
- 2 pound flank steak
- 1 cup bread flour
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1/4 Tsp fresh ground black pepper
- 1/4 Tsp cayanne pepper
- 2 Tbsp peanut oil
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- dash hot sauce
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp grated lemon rind
- 1/4 cup red onion, minced
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 lemon, sliced
- grilled portabella mushroom slices
- parsley sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
Score meat. Mix flour, salt,cayanne, and black pepper; thoroughly pound into meat. Brown in hot oil. Combine remaining ingrediets; pour over meat and cover. Cook over low heat until tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Serve surrounded by a border of cooked yellow rice. Garnish with parsley, grilled portabella mushrooms and lemon Slices A Tall cool glass of fresh Ice Tea, and Fruit Cocktail with cool whip for dessert. Serves: 4
