- 1 pound breakfast sausage links, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 4 eggs
- 2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup, plus more for serving

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Cook the breakfast sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Add 2 tablespoons maple syrup and stir to coat. Drain grease and pour sausage into prepared 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large bowl mix together the Bisquick mix with the eggs and milk until well combined.

Add in the cheese.

Pour the Bisquick mixture evenly over the cooked sausage.

Bake the casserole for 25-30 minutes until set and golden brown.

Serve with maple syrup.
