Scrambled Eggs with Cream Cheese

A scrambled egg breakfast doesn't get much easier than this! The surprise is the wonderful flavor imparted by the cream cheese. You have to experience it for yourself - make this easy breakfast recipe today!

Notes

I have seen scrambled eggs prepared in a double boiler, which I'm sure would work equally well with this dish. In this case, I believe you can omit the butter.

Ingredients

  • Butter, for cooking
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 ounce cream cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat.
     
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs.
     
  3. Once the butter is hot, pour the eggs into the pan.
     
  4. Stir frequently until the eggs are mostly cooked.
     
  5. Add the cream cheese in pieces (to help it melt more quickly) and continue to stir.
     
  6. The dish is ready once the eggs have set and the cream cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
