Blonde Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (6 - 8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

Cream the sugar and butter, beat the egg, vanilla and milk in. Stir in the dry ingredients, then add the chocolate chips and nuts. Spread in a "brownie-size" pan (greased and floured) and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. (Careful not to overbake!)
