Taco Pizza Rolls
"Taco Pizza rolls are the perfect combination of two great weeknight meals: pizza and tacos! Be sure that you don’t overfill your taco pizza rolls with the taco meat and cheese or you’ll have some trouble rolling it up! You want your rolls to be full but not overflowing. You can use homemade pizza dough, but you’ll want to make sure that you roll it out pretty thin because homemade dough tends to puff up more than store-bought."

Ingredients
- 1/2 (1-1/2-pound) Ground beef
- 2 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 can refrigerated pizza crust
- 3 tablespoon Water
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- Toppings - lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa
-
To make these taco pizza rolls, start by preheating the oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by spraying it lightly with cooking spray. Set it aside.
-
Place your skillet over medium heat and add in the ground beef. Cook the beef until fully cooked through, then drain off any excess grease.
-
Add in the taco seasoning and water and cook again over medium heat until the sauce starts to thicken slightly. Remove the beef from the heat and let cool.
-
While the beef cools, remove the pizza dough from the package and unroll it on a flat surface. Use a rolling pin to form the dough into a rectangle.
-
Spoon the cooled taco meat over the dough, spreading it evenly over the whole rectangle.
-
Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the taco meat.
-
Starting with the long edge of the dough, roll the dough tightly into a long roll.
-
Use a sharp knife to slice the roll every inch to create about 12-15 slices.
-
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
-
Top the rolls with your choice of toppings and enjoy!
