- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup frozen cherries, thawed and halved

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease a bundt pan.

Cream together butter and sugar.

Add egg, applesauce, and water.

Add the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon.

Gently stir in walnuts, raisins, and cherry halves.

Pour into bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
