Auntie's Favorite Gold Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cups flour
- essence of vanilla
- 3/4 cup butter
- yolks of 8 eggs
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
Instructions
Mix the sugar and butter to a cream. Add the yolks of the eggs, then the milk. Sift in the flour and baking powder and beat well. Bake in a well heated oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes
