Jewish Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 6 apples, peeled and sliced
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tsps baking powder
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 5 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsps cinnamon
Instructions
Mix 5 Tbsp sugar with cinnamon Beat oil and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, add flour and baking powder Add orange juice Grease and flour tube pan. Pour 1/3 of batter, half of apples and 1/3 of cinnamon-sugar. Pour 1/3 of batter, second half of apples, and l/3 of cinnamon-sugar. End with last 1/3 of batter topped with cinnamon-sugar. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour 15 min. Cool in pan at least 1 hour before removing.
