Lemon Sour Cream Pound Cake with Lemon Glaze
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg. (2.9 oz.) lemon cook and serve pudding and pie filling (not instant)
- 8 oz.s sour cream
- 1/3 C. oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 C. powdered sugar
- 1/4 C. lemon juice
- 2 T. melted butter
- 1 t. water
Instructions
Heat oven to 350F. Grease and flour 10" tube pan. Beat all cake ingredients on med. for 4 min. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 55-60 minutes till toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan to rack. Poke cake all over with skewer. Spoon glaze over warm cake. Dust cooled cake with additional powdered sugar if desired. Glaze Mix all ingredients till smooth.
