Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1 pound butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- l teaspoon baking powder
- l tablespoon vanilla
Instructions
Eggs and butter blend well together if left out at room temperature before using. Blend eggs, butter, and sugar together alternately adding flour. Add remaining ingredients. Beat well. Cook for approximately 1 hour and twenty minutes at 325.
