Sour Cream Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 cup sour cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325. Grease a bundt pan. Combine butter and sugar on low speed; beat in eggs one at a time on medium speed; add vanilla flavoring; stir; mix in flour, salt, and baking soda; add sour cream; stir until mixed in. Scrape batter into prepared pan. Bake for 55 minutes, on center rack of oven, until tester comes out clean. Put pan on wire rack; let stand 15 minutes; turn cake out onto rack to finish cooling.
