Square Dance Party Cake
This recipe for Square Dance Party Cake was originally on a Dexo ad years and years ago. This brand of shortening no longer exists, so the recipe has been updated. If you haven't guessed already, this square dance cake is so named because if you cut the cake in half, you'll see four different squares on the inside. To achieve this, separate the batter in half and put yellow food coloring in one half and red food coloring in the other. Square dances may not be as common anymore, but this cake will be welcomed at any party.
