Stupid Pineapple Icebox Cake

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup powered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
- 1 cup crushed pineapple
- 1 (1-pound) box vanilla wafers

Cream powdered sugar and butter well.

Add egg yolks that have been beaten until thick and lemon colored.

Fold in beaten egg whites.

Layer the cake in the following order: 1st layer: 1/2 of the vanilla wafers, ground up. 2nd layer: Batter mixture (sugar, butter, eggs). 3rd layer: Pineapple (drained well). 4th layer: Whipped cream. 5th layer: Remaining 1/2 of the vanilla wafers.
- Chill for 12-24 hours. Serve with whipped cream and a cherry on top.
