Ingredients: 1 package yellow cake mix; 1 package of instant lemon pudding mix; 1 can (16-ounces) fruit cocktail in heavy syrup; 1 cup flaked coconut; 4 eggs; 1/4 cup oil; 1/2 cup brown sugar; 1/2 cup chopped nuts; For the Glaze:; 1/4 cup butter; 2 cup powdered sugar; 2 tablespoon milk; extract or flavoring if desired

Cake recipes are great for any occasion. This wonderful recipe is made with both cake mix and pudding mix to give it a rich and moist flavor. Covered with a sugary glaze, indulge yourself in a slice or two.

Ingredients

1 package yellow cake mix
1 package of instant lemon pudding mix
1 can (16-ounces) fruit cocktail in heavy syrup
1 cup flaked coconut
4 eggs
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
For the Glaze:
1/4 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
extract or flavoring if desired

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
Blend all cake ingredients except for brown sugar and nuts and beat 4 minutes with electric mixer at med. speed.
Pour into a well greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and nuts.
Bake in a 325 oven about 45 minutes or tested done. Cool 15 minutes.
Meanwhile make glaze by combining glaze ingredients and boiling for 2 minutes. Pour over warm cake.

NO 2 STATES TO BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS EXCDEPT BROWN SUGAR AND NUTS SO THIS WOULD INCLUDETHE FRUIT COCKTAIL...

Does ANYONE read these recipes before there are printed ? The fruit cocktail is not mentioned in the preparation. When does it go in? PLEASE print a correction !
