Chocolate Coconut Candy Squares

Ingredients

  • 150g sweetened condensed milk
  • 5ml vanilla
  • 350g icing sugar
  • 350g dessicated coconut
  • 650g semisweet chocolate, melted in a double boiler

Instructions

Australian measure.. Mix together vanilla and milk. Gradually add sugar and beat until well incorporated and creamy. Sprinkle in coconut and blend well. Mixture will be stiff. Scrape into a 23cm x 33cm tin, pressing firmly. Chill several hours. When firm, cut into 3cm x 7cm pieces. Skewer each piece with a fork and dip in melted chocolate. Let excess drip off before setting on gladbake to dry.
