Coconut Date Balls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 2 cup Rice Krispies

Instructions
Combine butter, sugar, milk, salt and egg. Cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla, chopped dates and Rice Krispies. Mix well and cool. Roll balls in dry coconut. Keep in cool place or freezer. Yield: 25 date balls.
