Marshmallows

Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • food coloring (if desired)
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat until thick and fluffy. Add coloring. To make marshmallow eggs: Fill dripper pans with flour, push molds into flour, making egg-shaped indentations (a regular egg works fine). Spoon marshmallow indentations. Dust tops with flour. Eggs may be covered with chocolate, if desired. Makes about 50-75 eggs.
